One of the earliest surviving production cars, delivered to Captain J.C. Douglas, a well known Brooklands driver. Much raced by Delves-Broughton in the 1960's and early 1970's and who had the present two seater body made and fitted. Completely restored to the very highest standard by Ecurie Bertelli ltd. in 2002-3, including new steel crank and rods in a new cylinder block. With many concours successes in the past 4 years including 2003 AMOC Spring concours (1st in Class), 2003 Louis Vuitton Concours, 2006 Newport Beach concours (1st in Class), 2007 Pebble Beach Concours (3rd in Class). One of the finest Bamford and Martin cars anywhere, in world class concours condition and superb mechanical condition. A rare combination for such an early Aston Martin. The car is presently in California.
