Ecurie Bertelli is seeking to increase its workshop team and is looking for a full-time craftsman/mechanic. Established over 45 years ago by Pink Floyd's Nick Mason to service his own pre-war Aston Martin race cars, the business has since developed to become the pre-eminent pre-war Aston Martin specialist company. From service work and ground-up restorations to in-house parts production and event support, all aspects of use of these cars is covered.
Our existing team are cohesive, skilled, enthusiastic and proactive, and includes previous and current apprentices. Applicants, including apprentices, will receive in-house training and must be able to self-manage their own projects as well as fully integrating within the team. Ideally, those with the following skills and experience are invited to apply:
- Workshop experience working on historic vehicles
- Basic manual lathe and machining skills
- Experience with automotive electrical systems
- Basic fabrication, wood-working and welding skills
- Able to carry out full restoration projects as well as shorter projects such as vehicle servicing
