This week we were pleased to deliver Mark Donoghue's cherished 1923 Sidevalve, "Cloverleaf", to the Rotunda at the Royal Automobile Club at Pall Mall. The vehicle will be on display for a week to celebrate the centenary of Aston Martin's first ever entry into a motorsport event. The event was the Motor Cycle Club's long distance reliablility trial; London to Edinburgh.
This Sidevalve is the second oldest surviving Aston Martin road car and one of only a handful of remaining Sidevalves. It had been used competitively until the 1960s but in more recent times has undergone a complete rebuild. It has also seen successes at concours events.
It is a worthy guest at the Rotunda to celebrate the history of Aston Martin.
